“Smile” is a moving portrait of young people from Ellen Tinkham College which supports young people with varying learning and physical disabilities in their post 16 education.
This projection formed part of Exeter’s first Lost Weekend – a festival of music, art, ideas and technology. Through back-projection onto the window of Dodo Photo these young people became part of Exeter’s city centre, celebrated through their presence and portrayal.
Supported by Kaleider where I’m a stakeholder resident. Smile was commissioned through NOSE, a street arts initiative led by artist and organiser Stuart Crewes.
